Hail Mary

You might have already heard about Hail Mary’s mouth-watering tacos and quesadillas.

Tucked halfway down James Street in Burleigh Heads, Hail Mary has been satisfying our collective hankering for tequila and tacos since opening as Tacocat in 2017.

This colourful & bold venue is inspired by the vivid heritage of Mexico with a nod to our coastal home, Burleigh heads.

With more than 11 different tacos, crispy quesadillas and miscellaneous deep-fried morsels, Hail Mary has continuously been rated one of the Best Mexican Restaurants On The Gold Coast.

The Loose Moose

Considered one of the Best Bars in Broadbeach, The Loose Moose has without question, the city’s most ridic bar fit-out and a hard-to-choose food menu (think: delicious tacos, gourmet meats, and a broad list of starters).

The Loose Moose has become a popular go-to destination on the Gold Coast for great food, live music, events, and their 80 different beers and 160-plus whiskies list.

If you are on the northern end of the Gold Coast on a Tuesday, try their four different taco flavours and tell us how good the tortillas are!

Posadas Cantina & Taqueria

It’s a fact that Eagleby’s neighbourhood food and entertainment hub – Distillery Road Market – has been growing their food offering since opening in 2015.

With the arrival of Posadas within the precinct, this compelling destination (located midway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane) offers an authentic Mexican food experience.

This cantina and taqueria uses some of the region’s best produce across a menu of Mexican-inspired eats. Customers can opt for corn or flour soft tacos, filled with premium ingredients, taquitos and nachos.

DRM and Posadas Founder, Kenton Campbell, is known for pouring his heart and soul into creating food and beverage experiences that are best shared and Posadas is another perfect example of how epicurean experiences bring people together.

“Posadas adds another unique taste of what’s to come for Distillery Road Market. It’s a purpose-built food truck that serves up street-style eats inspired by Mexico; an experiential eatery that has helped build DRM’s name,” he said.

Named after José Guadalupe Posada – a 19th century Mexican artist well known for his calavera depictions, which have notably become one of the most recognisable cultural and artistic elements of Mexico – Posadas plays homage to these Mexican influences in their design, flavours and offerings.
