Fig Tostada’s

  • 500g Brie - or any washed rind soft cheese

  • 200g halved macadamia nuts

  • 10 fresh figs

  • 10 tsp honey

  • sea salt

  • mint leaves to garnish

Tip: Perfect addition to add to your cheese platter.


  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Heat tortillas as per packet instructions and keep warm in a tortilla warmer or wrapped in a tea towel
  3. Cut tortilla's in half, place on a lightly greased baking tray, sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 8 mins or until lightly golden brown and crispy
  4. Cool tostada's and place on a serving tray
  5. Place macadamia nuts in a single layer on a baking tray and bake for 2-3 mins until lightly brown
  6. Slice brie into 20 even slices
  7. Slice figs into quarters
  8. Place two slices of brie per tostada, top with 4 quarters of figs, sprinkle over macadamia nuts and drizzle with honey
