Our Diego’s Corn Tortillas were the first ever in Australian Retail! Since 1995, they have been available in your local grocer! While we have always baked our traditional corn tortillas locally here in Australia, they are still made with the authentic corn masa flour which involves the nixtamalization of the corn kernels to create the unique masa flour for making authentic corn tortillas. This allows us to have an awesome result for each and every batch of tortillas we bake! Ours are also of course free from gluten, yeast, artificial colours and flavours! They are also low in sugar and salt. Our tortillas are packed in laminated gas flush recyclable soft packaging to protect them from oxygen and with gas flushing ensures optimum shelf life, so all you need to do is open your pack, warm them and wrap them in a tortilla warmer or tea towel and serve with all the yum fillings for the perfect taco night! Or try making into quick quesadillas or your own crunchy corn tortilla chips! And we haven’t even mentioned huevos ranchers or breakfast tacos!
